Typically yes, as long as it wasn’t newly registered or previously transferred within the past 60 days. Some modifications to a domain name, such as changing registrant details, may prevent a transfer if the modifications were made within the past 60 days. Most Top-Level Domains (TLDs) are supported, including .com, .net, .org and many others. If in doubt, please contact us.
Google Analytics is automatically installed on your hosted website. These analytics are displayed in the Managed WordPress dashboard! It’s integrated with a plugin that won’t conflict with other Google Analytics accounts. So, if you want to add your own Google Analytics or import a site with existing Google Analytics, you can do so without any negative effects.
No, but we offer Google Workspace, which includes email and calendar, for an additional cost.
There are no WordPress login credentials required. Managed WordPress automatically creates an admin user that matches your Business Center user information.
It will typically take about a week to transfer a domain name, provided there are no delays in approving the transfer. Often a transfer can be completed much sooner, even as soon as the same day. This is dependent on the responsiveness of the current domain registrar and how long it takes to approve the transfer. In order to avoid delays, ensure that the domain name is unlocked and the authorization code is correct prior to initiating a transfer.
There are no set restrictions to the number of uploads at this time.
phpMyAdmin – manage database without depending on WordPress. SFTP – manage your website file system directly.
You will need an authorization code from your current domain registrar. This may also be referred to as an authorization key or EPP key. The domain name also must be unlocked. Additionally, ensure that any WHOIS, ID, or privacy protection features are disabled, and that your contact information is correct. You should be able to check these items in the client control panel of your existing registrar.
Please contact us if you need assistance locating the authorization code or unlocking your domain.
Automatic Core Updates: Managed WordPress handles all minor WordPress core updates for you. Minor security & maintenance releases are automatically installed after 48 hours of release. This helps make sure to keep the sites secure and protected from malicious activity. Major core updates, plugins, and theme updates are completed manually to avoid the risk of accidentally breaking your site.
Automatic Daily Backups: Most hosting providers make you pay for monthly backups. With Managed WordPress, your website is backed up every day so you’re able to restore anytime with one click.
If you have toggled on the “Advanced Login” option from the Managed WordPress dashboard you will be prompted to login to WordPress. If not, it will redirect you to the login page for Business Center.
The Managed WordPress Hosting product includes unmetered storage, bandwidth and backups, free SSL certificate, migration, and hosting support. Domain names and email hosting are available for an additional cost.
Once you place your order, you will receive an email from your current domain registrar requesting that you approve or deny the transfer. You must approve the transfer in order for it to proceed. Next, your current registrar must also approve the transfer. They have up to five days to do this, however, often this period can be bypassed in their control panel or by contacting their support team. Once approved, the transfer will be complete.
Your current registrar will usually approve the transfer unless there are any pending administrative or billing-related issues that must be resolved. A transfer may also fail if the domain is locked, the provided authorization code is incorrect, or if the domain was registered, transferred or modified within the past 60 days.
Managed WordPress sites are hosted on Google Cloud Platform―-Google’s cloud servers.
